The Quezon Heritage House is the house where President Manuel L. Quezon and his family lived during his time in Metro Manila. Quezon is a native of Baler, Aurora and the first president of the Philippine Commonwealth. Near the heritage house is the marker which commemorates Quezon’s Open-Door Policy for Jews who were seeking refuge from Nazism during World War II. Approximately 1,300 Jews were granted visas and welcomed to the Philippines.
