Notes about the Work: This is a photographic display of some places in Metro Manila. The work consists of several independent displays of photos which have been grouped together. It contains many photos of places in Metro Manila which the author has visited during the period December, 2018 - June, 2019, and the actual number of days spent for the trips is more or less 15 days. It has several photo galleries and slideshows. It provides information about Metro Manila and the visited places. The places visited by the author include the following: Andres Bonifacio monument in Caloocan city; Barangay Longos in the city of Malabon; Fort Santiago, Rizal monument and park, University of Santo Tomas museum, the National Museum and Bayview hotel in the city of Manila as well as other places in Manila; Marikina Public Market in Marikina city; Alba restaurant, Araneta center, Eastwood Richmonde hotel and Eastwood City, Museum of Presidential Limousines, Quezon Heritage House and Quezon Open Door Policy for Jews memorial in Quezon city.
Notes about Metro Manila: Metro Manila is also called the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines. It is located in the middle of the largest island of the archipelago which is Luzon. It is made up of 16 cities and 1 municipality which are classified as “highly urbanized” cities and municipality. It is divided into four districts. The first district is made up of only one city which is Manila (Maynila). The second district is composed of five cities which are Mandaluyong, Marikina, Pasig, Quezon city, and San Juan. The third district consists of 4 cities which include Caloocan (Kalookan), Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela while the fourth district is made up of the cities of Las Piñas, Makati, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay and Pateros and the municipality of Taguig. Together, these cities generate the biggest economic output for the country while they take pride as the center of political life.
