Selected Similar Verses in Isaiah and Mark

This article provides selected verses from the book of Isaiah and the gospel of Mark. Specifically, it contains verses from the book of Isaiah that are used in the gospel of Mark as well verses in Mark that appear to be the same as or strikingly similar to the verses in the book of Isaiah.

*Isaiah 6:9-10 vis-à-vis Mark 4:12

Isaiah 6:9-10 / NASB 2000

“He [God] said,

’Go, and tell this people:

Keep on listening, but do not perceive;

Keep on looking, but do not understand.

Render the hearts of this people insensitive,

Their ears dull,

And their eyes dim,

Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
