Short Version of the Article Entitled, "Gospel Lists"
Gospel Lists

This article contains “some beings, some places and some things gospel.” All of them, therefore, have something to do with the four gospels of the Bible, which tell the story of Jesus Christ while he lived here on earth more than 2,000 years ago.

The article is the short version of Gospel Lists. The complete version will be published not later than July 2020. Seven lists are given, and each list deals with one particular topic. The article has been divided into three parts. This is Part One of the short version of Gospel Lists which contains two lists about the gospels and the books of the Bible and the beatitudes.

They are intended to help one’s neighbor in need. They are intended to assist and to serve the neglected, the oppressed individuals and the most vulnerable.

  • “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:3)
  • “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
  • “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5)
  • “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)
  • “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7)
  • “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
  • “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)
  • “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:10)
  • “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” (Matthew 5:11-12)
